Yamaha Financial Services Raise Funds For Mental Health
Yamaha Financial Services fundraising team, Chain Reaction, has emerged victorious in a fiercely competitive fundraising mission. Their exceptional efforts resulted in the highest dollar value of donations to support the Black Dog Institute and its ongoing campaign to increase mental health awareness.
The Chain Reaction team - made up of team Captain Scott Armstrong, Cameron Meehan, Christian Castillo, Lydia Sekuloski, Vanessa Tannous, and Nicola Rogheto - raised $701 for Black Dog Institute and clocked up 156km on their Yamaha YDX-Moro 07 e-MTB.
Andrew Flanagan, captain of the Wheelie Funny team, along with fellow team members Andrew O’Reilly, Darren Wedd, Michelle Eastburn, and Carmen Tan, clocked up the highest kilometre count of the three teams with 202km pedalled on their YDX-Moro 07. Their energetic efforts claimed them the $500 bonus provided by Yamaha Financial Services as the team to cover the most kilometres. However, they were unable to dislodge Chain Reaction from the top of the fundraising table.
The Holey Spokes team - Craig Lizars (Capt.), Aaron Gambrill, Mark Thompson, Catherine Borg, Bill Fares and Shamirn Yousef - were also commended for their fundraising and kilometre-collecting efforts.
